Poorboy Vintage

Project:
Visualisation - Logo and visual identity

Deliverables:
Adaptive Logo System, Visual Identity, Packaging, Marketing

The challenge for this project was to choose an independent shop and rebrand the visual identity to what we felt was more fitting, appropriate and appealing for the business.

Starting with the logo and sticking with the anchor we took a more personal approach creating a icon that looked like an anchor with arrows pointing to the past (vintage) and forwards (future) with a nod to the remaking of certain items prolonging the life span of clothing. We also incorporated a person in to the anchor, representing the people and customers behind the continued success of the business.

We moved on to looking at various touch-points for the Poorboy branding, coming up with designs for packaging, carrier bags and merchandise that all followed the new visual direction. A unique set of icons where designed and used sparingly across various touch-points which helped further with the nautical theme to the brand.

We looked at how a new website may look for the business, keeping it clean and minimal in appearance and also how posters and banners may look in promoting the Poorboy Vintage brand.
